Made Up Of Irish Immigrants At The Time,

They Were The Trouble Makers.

These Notes Would Used For A Few Years

Until TheyBecame Soiled, Look So Dirty You Barely

See The The Printed Image.

Some Were Washed, Which Removed The Blue Tint

Applied During The Printing Process,

Done At The BEP,

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing ,

Which Was A Security Measure, To Stop Counterfeiting

Which Ran Rapid In The Large Cities,

Many Of These Bills Were Produced In Back Rooms

Of Boston. Buying One To Day Is Very Hard.

Since Most Are Counterfeits.

The Dirty Ones Turn Out To Be Real.

Any Currency That Is A Bright White Is Fake.

About 90% Of The Surviving Note Are Not Real.

Counterfeits Are Thin And Do Not Stand Up.

These Are Made Of Dirty Paper To Look Real.

The Difference Between Real And Fake Is The Ones

Released By The Treasury Are Made Of Linen Blend Of Paper.

Just Touch Them, You Know The Difference. .
