A Little Personal History – Her Own Words

I was playing my Les Paul and singing in my Rock’N’Roll band during the amazing punk rock scene at CBGB’s in New York City, when I was “discovered” by America’s iconic fashion designer, Bill Blass. To my really good fortune and surprise he invited me to be his “house” model for several seasons, during which time I became one of New York’s top haute couture runway and photographic models with the FORD agency. Not only did Bill take me around the world modeling the clothes he designed on me, but each morning he would drape me in the best fabrics flown in from Italy and Paris for his line that season.
